Texas State Aquarium SeaCamp
SeaCamp is the Texas State Aquarium's summer program for Grades 1-8. Each week-long session offers educational programs, tours, fishing, watercraft, and much more. Older campers take part in field investigations and have fun during an intro to SCUBA. Campers Grade 3 and above spend one night in the Aquarium.
Classroom presentation, Includes a visit to a site, Outdoor field trip
Campers learn about a variety of animals and habitats of coastal Texas and the Gulf of Mexico. Older campers learn how to conduct field investigations including data gathering and analysis. They use their data and observations to compare different coastal habitats.

summer camp, SeaCamp,
SeaCamp 2008 will be offered weekly from June 2-August 22. Sessions are Monday-Friday from 9:00-3:00. Extended hours available are every other week. Most activities are conducted at the Aquarium's SeaLab facility. Campers Grade 3 and above spend one night at the Aquarium. Grade levels apply to grade completed inthe 2007-2008 school year.

Camp SeaStar (Grade K5): $160 Camp SeaUrchin (Grades 1-2): $170 Camp SeaHorse (Grades 3-5): $190 Camp Explorer (Grades 5-8): $225 Aquarium members receive a $20 discount on camp fee.
